Music and Sound For Picture

If you need someone to compose an original score for your film, I can help.  I carefully sculpt my music to tell your story and paint an accurate picture Musically of the emotion that you wish to portray.  I can orchestrate my music and print a score, or I can use software at my disposal to virtually create a full-orchestral soundtrack, thus saving the money, time, and hassle required by a live performance and recording.  I can also provide sound effects, remove (to a degree) noise, pops, and clicks, and mix sound.

As a Christian composer, I will only compose for certain films- see here.

If I may be of service, please e-mail me.

Red Rain book trailer

08/5/11

This is TPFM's (and my) latest project. The plan is to add sound effects and narration in the future, but here it is with just the score.

Before we agreed to do this trailer, I read a rough draft of this e-book-to-be, and it was a pleasure and a breath of fresh air to read. Very worldview conscious, and full of glorious modeling of Biblical family life. It was also a good story. I love it when good art and good worldview are combined.

There were some rough spots, but it was a rough draft. I look forward to reading the finished version if ever I get my grubby mitts on it. Nevertheless, the meat of the story was a delight to behold- and it was quite the enjoyable journey, even in rough-draft form. I would definitely recommend that you get yourself a copy when it comes out, and if the trailer leaves you wanting to learn more, check out the author's website:

Scoring A Short

11/11/10

I'm currently working on the music for a short film by Stephen Littman (Jr.). You can hear a sneak-peek into this score at the top of the playlist on the right. Praise God, I love working with young directors who could very possibly be future culture-changers, and who, indeed, are even now working to change the culture for Christ.

SAICFF

10/4/10

Glory to God! Two films that I have been involved with- and written music for- have been accepted into the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival! The films are Friday at Noon and Above All Stand.

Demo Reel - Jeffrey Griffith

6/28/10

I was honored to be allowed to write music for Jeffrey Griffith's demo reel. Enjoy! You can hear the piece in its full version as "Moment of Truth," in my playlist to the right. Jeffrey Griffith is a talented Christian stuntman- the reel below showcases his skills. It does contain violent-looking content.

Psalm 98

I just read Psalm 98. Passages of Scripture like this are especially precious to me as a composer. God made Music- it is for His Glory!

Composing for Friday at Noon

Timepiece Family Media is producing their first feature- Friday at Noon. This is a project that I am absolutely thrilled to be involved with, as it not only is a genre that I love, but it powerfully presents the answer to one of the most haunting questions that face the Church today.
